Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steven Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mace Windu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Wu-Tang Clan - Bring Da Ruckus. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Steven Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mace Windu!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Windu tries to clinch up but Lee circles away and keeps his distance.
Windu tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lee swats away the attempt to clinch by Windu.
Windu fails in his attempt to clinch.
A jab lands there for Lee.
Lee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Windu wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance.
Windu looks to land a body kick but Lee moved away.
Mace Windu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee defending well as Windu loads up on a big left hand.
Windu throws a series of punches but Lee moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fight stays on the outside here - Windu looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Windu fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lee cracks Windu with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Lee scores with a takedown into Windu's guard.
Lee slips nicely into half guard.
Lee is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Lee's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Lee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Windu is breathing heavily.

Lee wants to work for an arm triangle but Windu is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Lee takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Lee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lee not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Lee slows the pace down in half guard.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Steven Lee just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Windu gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Lee content to stall in guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Lee drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lee jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lee has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steven Lee dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Lee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Lee counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Windu takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Lee fails to land the takedown.
A decent looking cross lands there for Lee.
Windu thows a body shot but no joy.

Lee shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lee showed some decent athleticism there.
Lee thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Windu's head.
Windu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lee seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Well, if Lee is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Mace Windu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Lee looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Windu with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Steven Lee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Lee avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Windu takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Lee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Lee thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Steven Lee showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
