The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pack misses with a series of wild punches.
Smith throws a counter combo.
Smith moves in looking to clinch but Pack pushes him off.
Pack feinted with a counter takedown.
Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pack's waist but Pack gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
Pack half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Pack throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smith moves into the clinch.
Pack has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Smith regains guard immediately.
Pack scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pack. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pack postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Pack loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Pack has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Pack postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Smith covers up, he's hurt! Pack keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Pack and the ref steps in to end the fight! Pack can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
