Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forkbeard slips under a jab from Holmes.
Holmes has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Forkbeard is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Holmes throws a hook but Forkbeard blocks it.
Holmes throws a hook but Forkbeard avoids it easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Forkbeard.
Forkbeard lands a nice looking kick to the body. Holmes takes a step back to recover.
Holmes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Forkbeard.

We've been told by Forkbeard's head coaches at Shark Tank MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Forkbeard uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Holmes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Forkbeard fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Holmes has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Forkbeard, right into the meat.

Holmes chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Forkbeard can pounce on him.
Forkbeard moves into the clinch.
Forkbeard gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Holmes.
Holmes is trying to pull guard but Forkbeard turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Sweyn Forkbeard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hank Holmes.
Forkbeard scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Forkbeard tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Holmes's elbow.
Forkbeard is leaning against Holmes and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Forkbeard swings wildly with an uppercut but Holmes uses good head movement to avoid it.

Forkbeard pushes Holmes back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Forkbeard gets through Holmes's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Forkbeard lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Holmes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Forkbeard on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Holmes lunges at Forkbeard with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Forkbeard's hand.
Holmes takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Forkbeard moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Holmes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Holmes takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Holmes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Forkbeard was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Holmes misses with a looping left.
Good leg kick by Forkbeard there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Holmes tests Forkbeard's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Holmes walks into a jab.

Holmes takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Holmes misses with a lunging right hand
and Forkbeard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Forkbeard lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Holmes at a distance.

Forkbeard feints and then cracks Holmes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Holmes down.
Forkbeard cracks Holmes with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Forkbeard has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Holmes to stand back up!
Holmes is rocked!
Forkbeard clinches up with Holmes and pushes him back against the cage.
Holmes is still on wobbly legs! Can Forkbeard finish him?
Forkbeard misses with a hook from the clinch.
Forkbeard lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Forkbeard throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Holmess head.

Forkbeard has a couple of punches blocked by Holmes.

Forkbeard tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Holmes grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Forkbeard takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Holmes cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
