The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Squarepants tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cambridge gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Squarepants is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Squarepants has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cambridge avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Squarepants is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cambridge is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Squarepants is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cambridge doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Squarepants.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cambridge can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cambridge is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
