Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Truman Mcknight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phenoix Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown has chosen Some Body Gonna Get It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcknight has managed to clinch.
Mcknight jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brown walks away with a smile on his face. Mcknight gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A combination from Brown does no damage.
Brown gets a double leg takedown into Mcknight's guard.
Mcknight has his foot on Brown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brown works his way back into a safe position though.

Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcknight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mcknight drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mcknight jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brown can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mcknight has gone for a leg lock! Brown slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mcknight's guard.

Mcknight drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brown looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brown looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brown!

Brown turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Brown manages to end up in side control.
Mcknight tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Let's hope that Brown has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mcknight gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Mcknight tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Brown is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Mcknight buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Mcknight!! Mcknight is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Brown throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:17 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phenoix Brown!
A less than humble Phenoix Brown misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
