Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bur throws a head kick but Cottero moves out of range.

Bur stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cottero.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cottero is taking a breather. Bur says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Let's hope that Cottero has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

and Bur takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Cottero is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bur is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cottero is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Bur looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cottero gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Bur is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cottero lets go of the hold and Bur can pop his arm back in it's socket.

A relieved looking Tommy Cottero thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
