Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shark Attack (ranked 679 p4p, 100 weight class) and Ryu Musashi (ranked 547 p4p, 82 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Musashi's choice of entrance music: Obama Sings. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

25 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shark Attack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

23 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryu Musashi!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musashi swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Attack.
Musashi throws a head kick that Attack semi-blocks.
It looks like Shark Attack has been cut.
A combination from Musashi does no damage.
Attack is looking for a counter combo.
Musashi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Attack fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Musashi cracks a nice hook into Attack's ribs.
Attack shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Musashi as he jumps to the side.
Musashi digs a good body shot into Attack's ribs.
Musashi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Attack has been working on his balance at Spar Bros, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Musashi.
Attack will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shark Attack. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Attack gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Musashi counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Attack shoots in for a takedown but Musashi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Musashi paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Shark Attack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Musashi connects with a nice looking jab.
Attack is rocked!
Musashi misses with a head kick.
Oh Attack is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Attack looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Musashi is fending him off so far but Attack persists. Nope, Musashi circles away and we're back to standing.
Attack seems to have got his legs back now.
Attack is breathing heavily.
Musashi lands a head kick. Attack smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Musashi scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Attack fails with the takedown.
Ryu Musashi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Attack shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Musashi sprawls well. Musashi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Attack gets slowly back to his feet.
As Attack backs off Musashi throws a huge counter combo but Attack manages to avoid it all.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Musashi lands with a hook. Attack tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Attack shoots and misses
and Musashi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Attack on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Musashi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Good exchange - Musashi coming out on top.
Attack looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Musashi lands a big head kick that sends Attack tumbling to the mat! Musashi takes a step backwards and waves Attack back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Attack circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Musashi. Attack falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Musashi!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryu Musashi!
