Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hung White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buzzsaw Hogcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hogcock's choice of entrance music: X gonna give it to ya. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Francis DeMontford and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogcock throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hogcock closes the distance and clinches.
White avoiding damage as Hogcock throws knees to the body.
Hogcock is trying to pull guard but White turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hogcock closes the distance and pushes White back into the cage.
Hogcock wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but White has him pressed against the cage.
White fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hogcock tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

White has had enough of the clinch but Hogcock keeps him there for the moment.
The referee calls for White to work.

White not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Horrible takedown attempt by Hogcock or perhaps it was just good defense by White, which made it look bad.
Hung White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buzzsaw Hogcock.
White showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hogcock.

A close round but Buzzsaw Hogcock will probably get the nod.
That's time! White's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hogcock throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
White is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Hogcock.
White shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hogcock pinned against the cage. Hogcock gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hogcock throws a sloppy head kick and White moves out of range easily.
Hogcock manages to get an easy takedown there - catching White on his heels. He'll look to pass White's guard now, I'm sure.
Hogcock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. White swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hogcock looking to sit in guard and control but White gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

White controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
White tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hogcock swivels and escapes.
Hogcock scores with a jab. White acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

White doesn't manage to clinch there - Hogcock circles away.
Nice takedown defense from White. No joy for Hogcock on that attempt.
Hung White is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hogcock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hogcock is breathing heavily.
Hogcock throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. White was covering up waiting for the punch and Hogcock finishes the takedown easily into guard.

White seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Hogcock wants to pass the guard but White is keeping the position.
Hogcock throws a strike but White rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hogcock is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
White missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

White is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hogcock is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Buzzsaw Hogcock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hung White.
I think Hogcock has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
