The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lock stuns Frost with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Frost shoots in for a double leg but Lock sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lock looks to land a combination. Frost sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Josef Frost has been cut. Lock looks to land a combination. Frost sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Frost. Lock throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Frost's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Lock dives in looking to finish as Frost flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Lock's strikes! Lock is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Frost's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Frost was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryan Lock!
