Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between The Reverend Jim Ignatowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chapin Brisebois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Reverend Jim Ignatowski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, The Reverend Jim Ignatowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chapin Brisebois! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brisebois wants to clinch up but Ignatowski keeps it at a distance. As Brisebois tries to get set, Ignatowski tries to push him back and clinch up but Brisebois manages to avoid the attempt. Ignatowski looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Ignatowski throws a half hearted mid kick. Brisebois bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Brisebois thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Brisebois trying to control the position but Ignatowski is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ignatowski is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Brisebois looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ignatowski manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Ignatowski tries to pass to full mount but Brisebois defends it. Ignatowski prevents Brisebois from improving his position. Ignatowski is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Ignatowski is looking for a kimura but Brisebois is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ignatowski to get the leverage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brisebois is trying to stand.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Brisebois pushes Ignatowski off looking to stand but Ignatowski dives back in and keeps control.
Brisebois wants to get back to full guard. Ignatowski wants to pass the guard but Brisebois is defending well. Brisebois is looking to improve his position.
Ignatowski moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Brisebois. Ignatowski is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brisebois knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brisebois being controlled for a moment. Ignatowski gets to mount! Brisebois was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Ignatowski avoids the attempt from Brisebois to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Brisebois is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Ignatowski is staying active. Brisebois throwing hammer fists to the chest of Ignatowski. What's that going to do exactly? Brisebois wants to hold on but Ignatowski pushes him away. Ignatowski sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Decent striking displayed by Ignatowski there. Ignatowski throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Brisebois shoots in for a takedown but Ignatowski shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ignatowski scores with a leg kick.
Ignatowski thows a leg kick but Brisebois checks it and Brisebois counters with a nice body kick.
Ignatowski throws a head kick that misses and Brisebois counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Ignatowski throws a leg kick which misses Brisebois's front leg but catches the back leg as Brisebois tries to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brisebois shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Brisebois was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. You can see the frustration on Ignatowski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Brisebois thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ignatowski is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Brisebois off and has taken his back! Brisebois is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Brisebois has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brisebois is holding on to Ignatowski 's glove but Ignatowski gets free and slips his arm under Brisebois 's chin. This could be big trouble! Yes, Brisebois is tapping furiously and this one is over!
