Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marlo Stanfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby McBarz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McBarz has chosen Pharrell - How does it feel? as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBarz throws a lazy uppercut
letting Stanfield counter with a right hand.
It looks like Bobby McBarz has been cut.
Stanfield misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stanfield throws a nice inside leg kick.
McBarz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stanfield.
McBarz throws a predictable looking body shot
and Stanfield counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
McBarz throws a poor cross that misses
and Stanfield counters with a nice leg kick.
Stanfield scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Stanfield keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McBarz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Stanfield manages to get an easy takedown there - catching McBarz on his heels. He'll look to pass McBarz's guard now, I'm sure.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, if Stanfield is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Stanfield seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down McBarz for as long as he can get away with.

Stanfield is nestled in close to McBarz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stanfield connects with a nice short shot to McBarz's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stanfield has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Stanfield cracks McBarz with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! McBarz looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Stanfield finish him?

Stanfield seems to be stalking McBarz here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastating head kick! McBarz drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
