Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sugar OD (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bishop comes to the cage accompanied by From Ashes to New - I Will Show You. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jackson Bishop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sugar OD! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! OD throws a sloppy head kick and Bishop moves out of range easily. OD misses with a double jab
and Bishop counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. OD avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bishop showing good wrestling skills to control the position. OD keeping moving, preventing Bishop from controlling successfully. The fighters are working up against the cage. OD manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. OD has Bishop pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. OD pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bishop tumbling to the mat - OD dives into Bishop's guard. Bishop is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Bishop has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. OD trying to control but Bishop is working from the bottom. OD throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. OD stopping the sweep attempt from Bishop.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. OD tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bishop swivels and escapes. Bishop looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. OD swings for the body but Bishop moves out of range.
Bishop cracks OD with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from OD. Bishop moves into the clinch. Bishop breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
OD throws a shot from downtown. Bishop moves away and avoids it. Bishop feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. OD trying to keep a closed guard but Bishop is proving a slippery customer.
OD wants to sweep here but Bishop controlling him for the moment. Bishop keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of OD's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bishop sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed OD's guard. Bishop seems to be working for a kimura but OD defends the submission attempt. Bishop is trying to control. OD wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bishop controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. OD is trying to get back to full guard. Bishop sitting and controlling from the half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. OD wants to get back to full guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bishop darts in and clinches OD up against the cage. Bishop is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
OD is trying to break the clinch but Bishop is controlling him. OD wants to get back to striking at distance but Bishop won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Bishop there. Bishop is looking to take a break and control but OD is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. OD is looking to control Bishop's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can OD avoid being mounted? OD has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Bishop is on him like a limpet, forcing OD back against the cage. Bishop pulls guard effortlessly. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. OD is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bishop has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. OD lands a couple of digs. Bishop on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bishop tries to get out of the position. Bishop wants to sweep but no luck. Bishop pulls OD in close to prevent any damage. OD trying to control the position from guard on top but Bishop is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bishop looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. OD in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. OD wants to control from the top but Bishop keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bishop looks to score with a jab to the body but OD is just out of range. OD tries to clinch but Bishop is having none of it. Jackson Bishop is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bishop uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by OD.
Bishop misses with a series of wild punches.
OD tries to close the distance and clinch but Bishop swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. OD with a body punch. A glancing blow. OD forces Bishop back against the cage and clinches. OD is looking for a takedown. OD goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bishop prevents it.
Jackson Bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sugar OD. Bishop is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but OD is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jackson Bishop will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Bishop lands a jab. OD lands a left and a right that send Bishop crashing to the mat, dazed. OD thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Jackson Bishop has been cut. OD scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. OD tries to close the distance and clinch but Bishop swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! OD sends Bishop crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! OD is motioning to the referee to let Bishop up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Oh Bishop is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! OD shoots for a double leg takedown but Bishop sprawls well. He's pushed OD's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bishop takes the fight into the clinch. Bishop wants a takedown but no success here.
Bishop seems to have got his legs back now. Bishop wants to take the fight to the mat but OD manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. OD fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Bishop will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. OD is looking to stand up but Bishop isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. OD trying to control the position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Bishop lands a couple of digs. Bishop engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. OD throws a head kick that misses. Bishop digs a good body shot into OD's ribs. Sugar OD seems to be getting the better of the standup. OD takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Bishop checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Bishop went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Sugar OD has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A cross from Bishop lands.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Sugar OD. I think Bishop has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
