Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ghee Buttersnaps!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Lay Pray!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pray is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Lay Pray has been cut.
Buttersnaps steps into range and cracks Pray with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Pray flops backwards and Buttersnaps dives into his guard looking to finish!
Pray is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pray looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Pray is still in real trouble! Can Buttersnaps finish him?
Pray seems to have recovered his senses.
Pray has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Buttersnaps has passed into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pray is looking to regain half guard here but Buttersnaps keeps moving and retains side control.
Pray prevents Buttersnaps from improving position.
Sloppy strikes there by Buttersnaps.
Buttersnaps decides to stand back up. Buttersnaps steps back and let's Pray get back to his feet.
Pray shoots in looking for a takedown. Buttersnaps tries to sprawl out of it but Pray keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buttersnaps manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Buttersnaps lands a high kick to the side of Pray's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Buttersnaps dives into guard, looking to finish.
Pray tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Pray throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Buttersnaps works over Pray with some ground and pound from guard.

Buttersnaps trying to control the position from guard on top but Pray is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Buttersnaps wants to pass the guard but Pray is keeping the position.
Pray bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Buttersnaps's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pray accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Buttersnaps wants to get back to his feet but Pray is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Pray throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Buttersnaps wants to get back to his feet but Pray is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Pray stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Buttersnaps swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Buttersnaps utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Pray throws a big elbow that misses.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pray's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Pray works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Pray working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pray is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Buttersnaps is trying to stand up here but Pray is controlling him well.
Pray throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Pray is keen to just control but Buttersnaps is a slippery customer.
Buttersnaps wants to get back to his feet.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pray lands a nice short elbow.
Pray is trying to control. Buttersnaps wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Pray prevents Buttersnaps from standing back up.
Pray has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Pray seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Buttersnaps does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Pray thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Buttersnaps's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ghee Buttersnaps dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Lay Pray's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Pray is trying hard to land a takedown here. Buttersnaps sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Buttersnaps keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pray shoots for a double leg takedown but Buttersnaps sprawls well. He's pushed Pray's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ghee Buttersnaps has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lay Pray.
Buttersnaps works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Pray closes the distance and clinches up with Buttersnaps, looking for a takedown. Pray pushes Buttersnaps against the cage but Buttersnaps circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Buttersnaps keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Buttersnaps, right into the meat.
Buttersnaps throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Pray's head.
That has opened up Lay Pray's cut even more.
Pray throws a wild hook but Buttersnaps just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Pray gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Buttersnaps raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ghee Buttersnaps!
A less than humble Ghee Buttersnaps misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
