Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gin Kobra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lenny Manelito!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kobra lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Kobra. Those never looked like landing.
Kobra looks to land a combination. Manelito sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Manelito tries to close the distance and clinch but Kobra swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kobra half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
A left and a right from Kobra both land. Nice combination.
Manelito tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Kobra manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kobra pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Manelito gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kobra.
Kobra scores with a jab. Manelito acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Manelito has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Manelito closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Kobra scores with a shot to the side of Manelito's head.
Kobra manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Kobra is pulling down on Manelito's head. It's preventing any offense from Manelito, at least for the moment.

Kobra wants to sweep but no luck.
Kobra bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Manelito's guard.
Kobra stops Manelito from standing up.
Manelito looks winded!
Kobra stays in close to Manelito's body and controls the position.
Kobra continues to stall.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Manelito is looking to stand up but Kobra isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Kobra scores with a punch to the head.
Kobra throws a wild body kick that Manelito sees coming a mile off.
Manelito tries to counter by closing the distance.
Kobra darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kobra instigates a clinch.
Kobra blocking some punches.
Manelito throws a head punch that misses.
Manelito tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kobra avoids it.
Kobra breaks the clinch.
Kobra swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kobra misses with a wild combination.
Kobra looks to land a combination. Manelito sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Manelito is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kobra.
Kobra misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kobra pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Manelito back to the ropes. Kobra follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Manelito is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kobra cracks Manelito with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Manelito falls to his knees and Kobra doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gin Kobra!
A very excited looking Gin Kobra rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
