The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krieg swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Thugbert's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Krieg connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Thugbert scrambles back to his feet.
Krieg thows a left - swing and a miss!
Thugbert is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Krieg.
Thugbert drops his hands momentarily and Krieg takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Krieg throws a nice looking combination but Thugbert bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
No joy there for Krieg, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Krieg misses with a two punch combination.
Thugbert uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Krieg.
Thugbert is looking to counter the offense by Krieg and move into the clinch.
Krieg looks to land a combination but Thugbert avoids it well.
It looked like Thugbert was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
A swing and a miss from Krieg.
Krieg has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Thugbert fails with an attempt to clinch.
Krieg slips a jab and a cross from Thugbert.

Krieg lands a left and a right that send Thugbert crashing to the mat, dazed. Krieg thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
