Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Scaresfedor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Armstrong might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to We Were Soldiers - Sgt. Mackenzie. Scaresfedor is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: fedor is a big fat chicken. On his way into the cage it seems that Craig Armstrong has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Craig Armstrong seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Armstrong counters with a single leg into guard. Scaresfedor didn't expect that.
Scaresfedor controls Armstrong momentarily but Armstrong frees himself.

Scaresfedor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Armstrong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Scaresfedor should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Armstrong would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Scaresfedor can't keep his opponent in guard - Armstrong advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Armstrong is keen to just control but Scaresfedor is a slippery customer.

so Armstrong counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Armstrong is nestled in close to Scaresfedor, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
