Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mervin Cobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralphy Lock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mervin Cobb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ralphy Lock! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cobb lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Cobb. Lock seems a little lost for a moment, as Cobb dominates the positioning. Lock gets back to half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cobb in particular looking to stall. Cobb's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Cobb really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lock is trying to stand up here but Cobb is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cobb in particular looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobb stops Lock from getting back to his feet.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Cobb is trying to control. Lock wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Cobb gets a double leg takedown into Lock's guard. Cobb controlling from the top position. Lock seems keen to control Cobb's posture. Cobb wants to control from the top but Lock keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lock controls Cobb momentarily but Cobb frees himself. Cobb trying to control the position from guard on top but Lock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lock is working an open guard so Cobb takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Lock lands with a kick to the ribs.
Lock feints and as Cobb raises his hands in defense, Lock changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Lock wants to stand but Cobb has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Lock trying to control but Cobb is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cobb is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lock misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cobb is looking to slow Lock down with leg kicks. Cobb keeps the fight on the outside. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cobb scores with a three punch combo!
Cobb closes the distance and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lock closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cobb quickly recovers to half guard. Cobb is looking to get back to is feet but Lock passes into side control.
Lock is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Cobb's shoulder. That is not cool. Cobb is looking for a sweep. Cobb wants to control but Lock postures up. Cobb is not content to let Lock control the position. Lock cracks Cobb with a big elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cobb manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lock seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cobb does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Cobb has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lock is working away from the top position though. Lock looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Cobb trying to control from the bottom.

Lock wants to stand up but Cobb has a hold of him and won't allow it. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cobb slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Lock preventing the sweep. Lock looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Cobb walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lock decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Lock stalling away here and it's allowed Cobb to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Lock is breathing heavily. Lock is stalling in the full guard. Lock loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Cobb wants to sweep here but Lock controlling him for the moment. Lock advances to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cobb is looking to improve his position.
Cobb is not content to let Lock control the position. Cobb has his hands clasped together around Lock's back. He's all about the action. Cobb wants to improve his position but Lock is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ralphy Lock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Cobb's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Lock fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cobb changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Cobb tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lock manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Lock takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Lock lands a left and a right that sends Cobb crashing to the canvas! Lock dives into mount looking to finish!
Cobb is rocked!
It looks like Mervin Cobb has been cut. Oooooh, big shot lands for Lock! Cobb is hurt baaadly! Lock is firing away with more strikes - Cobb is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
