Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kraig Livingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Probert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kraig Livingston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Probert!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Probert throws a right and a left that both miss.
Probert swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Livingston counters with a big head kick but Probert shrugs it off.
Probert ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Livingston moves away.
Livingston appears to be looking for a big counter.
Probert misses with a body shot.
Probert defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Livingston.
Livingston avoids the body shot from Probert.
Probert stuns Livingston with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Livingston tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Probert swivels and escapes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Probert throws a sloppy head kick and Livingston moves out of range easily.
Livingston tries to counter by clinching up but Probert breaks away and moves out of range.

Livingston fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Probert to the ground. Livingston is now in Probert's guard.

Probert pushes Livingston off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Probert throws a solid leg kick but Livingston takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Probert.

Probert throws a body punch but Livingston moves out of range.
Livingston seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Probert pushes Livingston up against the cage in a clinch.

Probert's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Probert misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Probert drops Livingston with a beautiful combination! Livingston stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Probert is looking for the KO!


It looks like Kraig Livingston has been cut.
Probert motions for Livingston to come forward. Probert throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Probert is looking to clinch but Livingston is avoiding it.
Livingston showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Probert.
Probert looks winded!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Probert just misses with a punch to the body.

Livingston gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Probert stopping the sweep attempt from Livingston.
Probert landing with the ground and pound.

Livingston has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Probert can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Probert wants to stand but Livingston is controlling his posture from full guard.

Probert decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Livingston, up you get!

Probert lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Livingston shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kraig Livingston. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Probert comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Probert swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Livingston makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Probert really felt that one!
Sloppy strikes from Probert. Those never looked like landing.

Probert gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Probert breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Livingston looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Probert!

Probert bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Livingston blocks a head kick by Probert.
Livingston is trying hard to land a takedown here. Probert sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Livingston dives in and scores a takedown into Probert's guard.

Probert uses the cage to get back to his feet.
A left lands for Probert.

Probert closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Livingston quickly recovers to half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ground and pound from Probert.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Probert dominated that round.

Probert shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Livingston eats them both and turns towards Probert to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Livingston uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Probert.
An attempted straight right counter from Livingston misses the target.
Probert misses with a hook
and Livingston counters with a body kick that stops Probert in his tracks momentarily.
Probert has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Probert tests Livingston's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Livingston has his takedown stuffed

and Probert counters by moving into the clinch.

Probert pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Livingston takes one on the button.
Probert is breathing heavily.

Probert clinches.
Livingston lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Livingston's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Probert throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Probert darts in and clinches Livingston up against the cage.

Livingston pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Probert falls off balance throwing a combination
and Livingston connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Probert misses with a few strikes there.

Probert darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Livingston lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Probert is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Livingston tries to get to full guard but Probert has control of the leg.
Livingston is pressing down on Probert's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Livingston tries to strike from the bottom.
Probert should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Probert wanted to stand there but Livingston had control of the position.

Livingston escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Probert gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Probert gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Probert is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Livingston rather than just go for the knockout.

Probert throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Livingston fails with a takedown attempt.

Probert closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Livingston's guard.
Probert content to stall in guard here.
Probert wants to stand but Livingston has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Livingston is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Probert is aware though and is defending well.
Probert postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Probert decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Livingston, up you get!
Bob Probert seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Probert changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Livingston looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Livingston is trying to get back to his feet.
Livingston is looking to regain half guard here but Probert keeps moving and retains side control.

Probert decides to stand back up. Probert steps back and let's Livingston get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Probert showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Probert connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Livingston's hands.
Probert thows a leg kick but Livingston checks it
and Livingston counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Livingston shoots in but Probert avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kraig Livingston is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Some wild striking there from Probert.
Livingston went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
A bone on bone clash there as Livingston blocks the leg kick.
As Probert looks to move away, Livingston throws a big counter combo but Probert just gets out of the way.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Probert. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Livingston seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Probert is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Livingston's half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Probert tries to stand but can't do so whilst Livingston controls his leg.
Probert seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Livingston is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Livingston is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Probert pulls his head out easily.
Probert perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Probert swinging wildly here.
Livingston fails with the takedown.
Livingston shoots for a double leg takedown but Probert sprawls well. He's pushed Livingston's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bob Probert is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kraig Livingston. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Probert connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Livingston walks into a straight right hand from Probert.

Probert shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Livingston napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Livingston tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Probert presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Livingston is in all sorts of trouble here.

Probert is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Livingston has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Probert raining down hammerfists from mount.
Probert trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Bob Probert has got the better of the ground game so far.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Probert wants to control the action but instead Livingston gets a body lock and reverses into Probert's guard! Nice work!

Bob Probert comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Probert has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
