Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aron Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Robin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Voice Of The Voicless - RATM. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aron Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rob Robin! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Robin as he avoids it easily. Lee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Robin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Robin finishes the takedown easily into guard. Robin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Lee keeping moving, preventing Robin from controlling successfully. Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robin prevents Lee from getting back to his feet. Robin wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robin trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom. Lee pushes Robin off and gets back to his feet.
Lee shoots in but Robin avoids the takedown attempt easily. Lee gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Robin to score an easy takedown into full guard. Robin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Robin trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Robin is stalling in the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Robin off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Lee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Robin but Robin pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aron Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Robin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Robin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Robin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Lee being controlled for a moment. Lee is trying to control Robin's posture but Robin avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Robin has just dragged him back down to the mat. Robin decides to stand back up. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Robin. Lee lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Robin lands a leg kick that knocks Lee off balance momentarily. Robin looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Lee! Robin is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lee's shoulder. That is not cool. Robin landing a few strikes. Lee is not content to let Robin control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee is looking to reverse the position. Robin is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lee will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Lee is not content to let Robin control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Robin closes the distance and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Robin dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A head kick misses from Robin. Robin misses with the combination.
Lee tries for a takedown but Robin circles away easily and Robin counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Robin moves into the clinch successfully.
Robin has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Robin has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lee regains guard immediately. Lee is trying to hold Robin in close to prevent damage but Robin has managed to pass into half guard.
Lee is trying to stand up here but Robin is controlling him well. Lee looking for submissions off his back. Robin is trying to control the action in half guard but Lee is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robin prevents Lee from standing back up.
Lee is refusing to be controlled, as Robin sits in half guard. Lee gets back to full guard.
Robin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lee is keeping the position for now. Robin prevents Lee from getting back to his feet. Robin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Robin postures up and lands a big shot to Lee's brow. Robin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard. Robin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Robin wants to get up but he can't break Lee's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Lee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Robin swivels and escapes. Robin rushes Lee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Lee wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aron Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Robin breaks the clinch.
Robin has managed to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Robin gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Lee regains guard.
Robin stands up and waves to Lee to follow him. Robin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Robin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Robin trying to stand up but can't free himself from Lee's guard. Robin postures up in Lee's guard and throws a big left but Lee blocks it. Robin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lee working a defensive guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Robin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lee's head. Robin is working Lee over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Robin is working Lee over from the guard. Rob Robin has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lee stands up and waves to Robin to follow him. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Robin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Robin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Lee is rocked! Lee tries to get to full guard but Robin has control of the leg. Oh Lee is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Robin trying to control the pace. Robin lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Lee! More strikes land and this one is all over! Robin jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rob Robin! A less than humble Rob Robin misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
