Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Huang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Seven Nation Army. David Hanson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Hanson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kevin Huang! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Huang is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hanson to keep the fight standing. Huang is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hanson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Huang tries to pull guard but Hanson won't allow it.
David Hanson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Huang. Huang is looking for a takedown. Huang drags the fight down to the ground.
Hanson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hanson controlling from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hanson postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Huang is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Huang has eaten all the pies! Hanson drops back looking for a leg! Huang is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Huang manages to kick Hanson off! Hanson jumps back into Huang's guard. Huang is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hanson stands and steps away. Huang gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Hanson misses with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hanson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Huang circles away quickly and effectively. Hanson throws a head kick that misses. Hanson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Huang avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hanson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Huang on his heels. He'll look to pass Huang's guard now, I'm sure. Huang tries to land a sweep but no joy. Huang is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hanson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Huang's head. Huang is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Huang looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Huang looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hanson has picked Huang up and slammed him! Huang can't keep hold of the triangle and Hanson manages to pass to side control! A lull in the action here. Hanson moves into full mount! Hanson controlling the position easily from mount. Hanson is standing up, even though he is in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hanson swats away the attempt to clinch by Huang. Huang misses with a takedown attempt - Hanson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hanson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Huang sprawls well initially but Hanson persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Huang wants to control but Hanson is keeping busy.
Hanson gets to his feet - back to striking we go! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hanson fakes the leg kick and cracks Huang in the body. That kick from Hanson tenderised Huang's leg. Huang is trying to keep his angry face on. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Hanson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hanson drives through with a takedown into Huang's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Hanson postures up.
Hanson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hanson controls from within his opponent's guard. Huang not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hanson trying to control but Huang is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hanson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Huang is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hanson, into his guard.
David Hanson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Huang is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Huang trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hanson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Huang can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Huang controlling from the top position. Hanson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Huang manages to get himself to full guard.
Hanson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Huang can do to turn this around?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hanson advances position into side control! Hanson controlling from side mount. Huang gets back to half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hanson lands a nice short elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hanson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hanson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Huang darts in looking for a takedown but Hanson gets double underhooks and turns Huang into the cage. Hanson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Huang to the ground. Hanson is now in Huang's guard. Huang is looking to stand back up but Hanson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Huang.
Hanson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Huang is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hanson scores with a couple of nice shots. Hanson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Huang has managed to free his arm - good work. Hanson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hanson wants to pass the guard but Huang is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Hanson dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Huang takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hanson looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Huang tries to hold on but Hanson pushes him away. Hanson is standing up, even though he is in mount. David Hanson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hanson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Huang is wriggling around but Hanson manages to pass to half guard.
Hanson decides to stand and escape the position. Hanson drives through with a takedown into Huang's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Huang wants to sweep here but Hanson controlling him for the moment. Hanson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Hanson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Hanson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Hanson. Hanson moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Hanson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Huang shoots in for a takedown but Hanson shows good takedown defense. Hanson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hanson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hanson stands up out of the half guard. Hanson throws a nice outside leg kick. Hanson is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Hanson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Huang is wriggling around trying to escape but Hanson has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Huang taps out and Hanson picks up the big win! Great work there by Hanson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). David Hanson! David Hanson bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
