Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between The Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Etienne Lazarvic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer looks to clinch
and Lazarvic counters with a three punch combo that has Killer backing up. Killer nods at Lazarvic to acknowledge the strikes.
Killer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Lazarvic moves into the clinch.

Lazarvic has picked Killer up - he's going for a ride! Lazarvic dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Lazarvic decides to return to a standing position.

Lazarvic drives through and clinches with Killer against the cage.
Killer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lazarvic smiles and moves away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Killer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lazarvic closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Killer's guard.
Lazarvic has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lazarvic throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Killer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lazarvic is in Killer's guard.

Lazarvic closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Killer's guard.
Lazarvic is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Killer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lazarvic to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Killer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
