Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Tristan Lancier and Tim Tom. Tom has chosen Kings Of Leon - Sex on Fire as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 2 losses; Tristan Lancier! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 1 losses; Tim Tom! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Tom doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lancier counters by clinching up. Lancier has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Tom is trying to keep an underhook but Lancier manages to get the takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Lancier (2) vs (0) Tom Tom is looking for a sweep. Lancier is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lancier is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Tom actively working from the bottom here. Lancier prevents Tom from improving his position. Lancier controlling the action here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tom moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lancier trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lancier is working hard here to advance position. Tom should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Tom throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Tom throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lancier escapes and throws Tom's legs to the side, diving into side control! That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tom keeps trying to improve his position. Lancier tries for a kimura but Tom is defending well. Tom tries to bench press Lancier off him but Lancier keeps the position. Lancier looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Lancier is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tom knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lancier tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Lancier tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lancier has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Lancier has control of an arm but Tom manages to advance to Lancier's back! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Lancier (5) vs (4) Tom Tom wants to control but Lancier is keeping busy. Lancier trying to control but not successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tom keeps control of the position as Lancier tries to break free.
Lancier breaks Tom's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Score +3 for passing guard: Lancier (10) vs (4) Tom Tom tries to bench press Lancier off him but Lancier keeps the position. Lancier has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tom is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Lancier yanks on the arm and Tom is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Lancier.
