Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lock lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Lock misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Hughes gets a takedown into half guard.
Hughes thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Lock is looking for a sweep. Hughes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lock wants to get back to his feet.
Hughes is thwarting Lock's attempts to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lock actively working from the bottom here.
Lock is trying to control but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hughes is keen to just control but Lock is a slippery customer.
Hughes looks to land a strike but Lock avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Hughes missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Lock seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Hughes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hughes throws a big elbow that misses.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lock is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hughes with a lazy takedown attempt
and Lock counters with a left and a right that stings Hughes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lock shoots in for a takedown but Hughes shows good takedown defense.
Hughes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lock sprawls well. Lock wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hughes gets slowly back to his feet.
Lock is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Lock tries to sprawl but Hughes drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Lock makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lock is defended easily by Hughes.
Lock looks winded!
Lock throws a series of strikes that have Hughes backpedaling.


Hughes is rocked!
Lock is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Hughes hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
