Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sheldon Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Longstreet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sheldon Russo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Longstreet! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Longstreet gets off balance looking for a body kick letting Russo counter with a right hand. Longstreet feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Longstreet must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Longstreet working some strikes from top position. Russo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Longstreet postures up and lands a big shot to Russo's brow. Longstreet keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Russo's head. Russo keeping moving, preventing Longstreet from controlling successfully. Russo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Longstreet is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Longstreet pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Russo is keeping the position for now. Longstreet looking to sit in guard and control but Russo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russo wants to control from the top but Longstreet keeps moving. Longstreet looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Longstreet keeping moving, preventing Russo from controlling successfully. Russo stopping the sweep attempt from Longstreet. Russo wants to pass the guard but Longstreet is keeping the position. Longstreet bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Russo's guard. Longstreet throws a big right hand that misses. Longstreet stands up over Russo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Longstreet connects with a couple of short punches. Russo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Longstreet manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Russo throws an elbow that misses. Longstreet uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Russo's guard. Nice move by Longstreet! Longstreet lands a couple of digs.
Russo is rocked!
It looks like Sheldon Russo has been cut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Longstreet gets to his feet and stands over Russo, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Russo felt that one! Longstreet unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Russo from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eric Longstreet! Eric Longstreet spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
