Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Knicknack!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Guthrie.
Knicknack is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Guthrie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
You can see the frustration on Knicknack's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Guthrie is working Knicknack over with some ground and pound from side control.

Guthrie has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Guthrie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Knicknack takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Guthrie decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Guthrie looking to score a takedown here. Knicknack is defending well but Guthrie drives through and ends up in Knicknack's guard.
Guthrie makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Guthrie working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Knicknack's head.
Guthrie is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Guthrie is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Knicknack has momentary wrist control but Guthrie slips an elbow through the middle.
Guthrie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Guthrie is working Knicknack over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Guthrie lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knicknack wants to stand up but Guthrie is controlling him.
Knicknack looks winded!

Guthrie stands and steps away. Knicknack gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Guthrie works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Guthrie is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Knicknack looks calm but he's in trouble here. Guthrie gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Knicknack is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Guthrie lets go of the hold and Knicknack can pop his arm back in it's socket.
