Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Jay Gatsby and John Gites. Gites has chosen Eminem - Above The Law as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 2 losses; Jay Gatsby! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 11 wins and 9 losses; John Gites!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Gatsby is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Gites knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Gites for a finish.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Gites uses his free foot to push down on Gatsby's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gatsby.

During a confident post fight interview, John Gites thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Jay Gatsby stepped up to the mic, saying 'Damn, I had him. I don't think I'd have lost if... In fact, I'm sure I won this fight, hope you give me a rematch, old sport. Can't repeat the past? Why, of course you can... of course you can. '.
