Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Studge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marky Mark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark has chosen Taylor Swift - Shake It Off as his entrance music. Marky Mark has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Studge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marky Mark! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Studge throws a shot from downtown. Mark moves away and avoids it. Studge misses with a combination
and Mark cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A looping hook to the body misses from Studge. Mark does a little dance to reset his feet. Mark is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Studge with a body shot. Mark scores with a punch to the head. Mark has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Mark throws a shot to the body.
Studge misses with a looping right. Studge lands a jab to the head.
Danny Studge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mark catches Studge with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Some wild striking there from Studge.
Studge scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Mark needs to keep his hands up - Studge had a free shot at his head there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Studge jabs Mark right on the nose. Mark blinks but takes it well. Mark throws a series of punches but Studge moves out of range. Studge throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Studge is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mark. Studge misses with a hook
and Mark counters with a nice uppercut. Mark lands with a straight right. Studge didn't see that one coming. Studge fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mark manages to avoid it. Studge throws a right and a left that both miss. Studge throws a jab but it's blocked by Mark. Mark scores with a nice head shot. Studge jabs at Mark's body. Mark blocks a jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mark staying out of range there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Studge fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Studge takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mark misses with a takedown attempt - Studge sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A telegraphed right hand from Mark misses the target. A big left from Studge misses. Studge misses with a wild combination.
Mark looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Mark shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Studge napping and manages to drive through into side control! Mark is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Studge is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. You can see the frustration on Studge's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mark gets to mount! Studge was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Mark is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Studge is in real trouble.
Studge tries to break free.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Studge trying to control the hands but Mark breaks the grip. Mark is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Studge has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Mark is riding his opponent, not letting Studge buck him off. Mark is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Studge taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Mark.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Marky Mark! A relieved looking Marky Mark thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
