Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ceoghan Cartwright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Lobo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartwright comes to the cage accompanied by Disciples of Power - Born Unto Death. Lobo has chosen Hayden James - Embrace as his entrance music. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Cartwright checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Cartwright is looking for a counter combo.
Cartwright darts in looking for a takedown but Lobo gets double underhooks and turns Cartwright into the cage.
Lobo wants to slow Cartwright down by chopping away at his legs.
Cartwright lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lobo circles away quickly and effectively.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lobo, right into the meat.
Ceoghan Cartwright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lobo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Cartwright throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lobo's waist but Lobo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cartwright off to one side.
Lobo throws a leg kick which misses Cartwright's front leg but catches the back leg as Cartwright tries to avoid it.
Cartwright on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lobo. Lobo obviously looking to wear him down.

Cartwright will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Cartwright fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lobo sprawls well initially but Cartwright persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cartwright is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lobo is just riding it out for now. Cartwright eventually gives up the hold.
Lobo wants to control but Cartwright is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Cartwright is thwarting Lobo's attempts to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
