Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rock Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aidan McVeigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McVeigh has chosen E-Dubble - Let Me Oh as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 20 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rock Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aidan McVeigh! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McVeigh fails in his attempt to clinch. Allen tries to score a power double leg takedown but McVeigh sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Allen somewhat. McVeigh has taken the fight to the clinch.
Allen works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. McVeigh pushes Allen off and scrambles back to his feet.
McVeigh clinches up with Allen and pushes him back against the cage. Nice elbow from McVeigh.
It looks like Rock Allen has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! McVeigh misses with a knee strike.
Allen's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. He has the arm isolated but McVeigh is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Allen looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Allen sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but McVeigh is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
McVeigh pushes Allen away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Allen gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. McVeigh regains half guard, as Allen was trying to land strikes. McVeigh is trying to stand back up but Allen is controlling him
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Allen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. McVeigh is looking to escape. Allen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
