Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Delvin Shore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Weston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delvin Shore has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Delvin Shore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Matt Weston! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shore moves into range and connects with a jab. Shore shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Delvin Shore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shore misses with a wild combination.
Shore takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Delvin Shore has been cut. Weston throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Shore misses with a double jab.
Shore shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Weston defends it nicely. Horrible takedown attempt by Shore or perhaps it was just good defense by Weston, which made it look bad. Weston swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Delvin Shore. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oooooh!!! Weston has knocked Shore down with a huge combo! Weston steps away and waves a wobbly Shore back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Weston swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shore. Danga de danga de dang - Shore scores with a four punch combination!
That's one minute gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Weston. Shore does a little dance to reset his feet. Weston bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Shore's head. Weston tries to clinch but Shore moves out of range. Weston cracks a nice hook into Shore's ribs. Shore fails to land the takedown. Shore will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Shore jabs Weston right on the nose. Weston blinks but takes it well. Shore throws a right hand that misses
and Weston counters with a nice uppercut. Shore ducks right into an uppercut from Weston.
Delvin Shore's cut is getting worse. Weston fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Shore is breathing heavily. Weston thuds a left hand into Shore's body. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Weston.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Weston instigates a clinch. A right hand to the body from Weston.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Weston misses with a short punch on the inside. Weston working some nice short punches in the clinch. Weston throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Shores head. Shore wants a takedown but no success here.
Weston swings wildly with an uppercut but Shore uses good head movement to avoid it. Shore blocking some punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Weston gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Shore.

Shore wants to take the fight to the mat but Weston manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Shore is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Weston can't fight it off and eventually Shore manages to take the fight to the floor. Weston looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Weston wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Shore has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Weston is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shore thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Weston manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shore manages to get himself to full guard.
Shore throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Shore has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Weston trying to control the position from guard on top but Shore is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shore has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Weston can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Weston trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Weston decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Shore, up you get! Weston feints and then cracks Shore's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shore down. Weston misses with the combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Weston dominated that round. The cut man is working on Delvin Shore's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Shore lands with a cross. Weston sizes up Shore with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Shore shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Weston counters with a nice body shot. Some wild striking there from Shore.
Weston lands with a good body shot. Nice takedown defense from Weston. No joy for Shore on that attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weston wobbles Shore with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Weston dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Shore to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Matt Weston! A less than humble Matt Weston misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
