Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Pope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Shinya Aoki has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Shinya Aoki seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki throws a series of punches but Pope moves out of range.
Pope bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Decent striking displayed by Pope there.
Pope lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Aoki crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pope - the referee stops the clock and Aoki gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pope. Aoki manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Pope tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Aoki was well out of range. Poor timing from Pope.
Pope moves into range and connects with a jab.
Pope misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Aoki .
Pope scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Pope bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pope lands a nice shot that snaps Aoki 's head back.
Aoki is rocked!
Pope shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Aoki takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Pope sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Aoki bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
