Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nero Burningrom (ranked 6541 p4p, 319 weight class) and Pozar Pozar (ranked 4598 p4p, 233 weight class). Pozar has chosen z Buta Wjeżdzam as his entrance music. Pozar Pozar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Pozar.
Pozar darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Burningrom wants to control but Pozar is keeping busy.
Pozar is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Burningrom is looking to improve his position.
Burningrom slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Pozar distracts Burningrom with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Pozar decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Burningrom fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pozar closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Burningrom's guard.

Burningrom shoots in but no luck this time.
And Pozar tries to counter it with a takedown but Burningrom pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Pozar connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pozar has hold of one of Burningrom's legs. Burningrom is fighting the takedown attempt but Pozar gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Burningrom will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pozar is fighting to break Burningrom's control of his arms but Burningrom is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
We've been hearing good reports from Burningrom's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Pozar has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Burningrom clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Pozar has the hooks in. Burningrom is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pozar punishes Burningrom with strikes from the back mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Pozar might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Burningrom is in bad spot here.

Burningrom manages to reverse the position and now he's in Pozar's guard. Nice work there by Burningrom.

Pozar is not content to let Burningrom control the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pozar wants to sweep here but Burningrom controlling him for the moment.
Burningrom is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.
Pozar controls Burningrom momentarily but Burningrom frees himself.
Pozar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Burningrom gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Pozar shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Burningrom manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Burningrom wants to sweep here but Pozar controlling him for the moment.
Pozar is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Pozar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Burningrom wants to stand and escape but Pozar is having none of it.
Pozar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Burningrom manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Pozar keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Pozar gets control of Burningrom's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pozar will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Burningrom wants to control from the top but Pozar keeps moving.
Pozar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pozar is looking to cinch up a triangle. Burningrom throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Pozar's body to avoid the submission. Pozar has instead reached around Burningrom's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Pozar arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
