Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Rekis (ranked 8961 p4p, 849 weight class) and Bobby TupperIII (ranked 10538 p4p, 941 weight class). Rekis comes into the arena with AC/DC - Thunderstruck blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Rekis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
39 - 43 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Bobby TupperIII! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rekis drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. TupperIII is working to avoid the ground and pound but Rekis connects with a decent elbow. TupperIII is trying to get back to half guard. Rekis looks up at the clock and then as TupperIII takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rekis smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
TupperIII is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rekis off and has taken his back! TupperIII is trying to stick to Rekis's back but Rekis is turning into TupperIII. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in TupperIII's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rekis. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rekis scores with a decent looking elbow strike. TupperIII looking for subs off his back but Rekis has passed one foot through into half guard.
Rekis working over TupperIII with some ground and pound. TupperIII looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Rekis controlling the pace. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rekis lands a nice short elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rekis is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Rekis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Rekis is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rekis working TupperIII over with strikes. Rekis lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Rekis lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked TupperIII! More strikes land and this one is all over! Rekis jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Rekis! John Rekis decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
