Bonner's entrance music is Lightning Strikes / The Offspring. A fine choice. Manley has chosen Born in the USA as his entrance music. Lonnie Bonner has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lonnie Bonner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Iggy Manley!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonner stuffs the takedown attempt from Manley. Manley gets slowly back to his feet.
Bonner scores with a jab.
Bonner listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Manley ducks under a wild hook from Bonner.
Bonner misses with a straight right.
Manley dives in and grabs Bonner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bonner pushes down on Manley's head and hops out.
Manley gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A jab lands there for Bonner.
Manley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bonner throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Manley sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Manley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Good exchange - Bonner coming out on top.
Bonner's corner calls for a 1-2. Bonner obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bonner throws an overhand right that lands on Manley's shoulder, as Manley tries to avoid the shot.
Bonner connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Bonner definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bonner uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Manley.

Manley shoots in and bounces Bonner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Manley not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Bonner utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Manley working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bonner's head.
Manley cracks Bonner with a solid left hand.

Manley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Manley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Manley content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Manley scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Manley not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Manley lands a couple of digs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Manley cracks Bonner with a solid left hand.

Bonner manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Bonner blocks a low kick nicely.
Bonner misses with a wild combination.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Manley shoots in but no luck this time.
Lonnie Bonner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iggy Manley.
Manley steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bonner.
Manley dives in for a single leg takedown but Bonner sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Lonnie Bonner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bonner punishes Manley's body with a nice straight punch.

Bonner misses with a looping right.
Manley walks into a straight right hand from Bonner.
No joy there for Bonner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Manley swings for the body but Bonner moves out of range.
Bonner misses with a looping right.
Manley slips under a jab from Bonner.
Bonner moves out of range as Manley throws a body kick.
Bonner throws a right and a left that both miss.
Manley slips under a jab.
Bonner lands a jab-cross combination.
Bonner with a body punch. A glancing blow.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Manley has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bonner finds it's way round the side to connect with Manley's head.

Bonner tries to sprawl but Manley drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Manley lands a nice short elbow.
Bonner is trying to stand up here but Manley is controlling him well.
Bonner has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Manley is working away from the top position though.
Manley looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bonner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bonner is breathing heavily.

Ground and pound from Manley.
Manley drops an elbow to the side of Bonner's head.
Manley scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Manley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bonner with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Manley slips a nice elbow through Bonner's hands, connecting with Bonner's forehead.
Bonner is trying to get back to full guard.

Manley is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Manley working over Bonner with some ground and pound. Bonner looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lonnie Bonner dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Manley looking to score a takedown here. Bonner is defending well but Manley drives through and ends up in Bonner's guard.
Manley postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Manley trying to control the position from guard on top but Bonner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Manley distracts Bonner with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Manley scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Manley throws a big elbow that misses.
Manley works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Bonner on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Manley controlling the action here.
Manley's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Manley slips a nice elbow through Bonner's hands, connecting with Bonner's forehead.
Manley working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.


Bonner is rocked!
Manley drops an elbow to the side of Bonner's head.
Oh Bonner is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Manley is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Bonner is hurt! He's hurt bad - Manley fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Bonner from any more punishment! Congratulations to Manley! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iggy Manley!
In his post fight interview, Iggy Manley started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
