Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tui Teka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Justin Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tui Teka!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lewis gets tackled into the cage by Teka. Teka maintains the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Lewis.
Lewis tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Teka avoids it.
A right hook to the body lands for Teka.
Lewis stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Lewis has Teka pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lewis pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Teka tumbling to the mat - Lewis dives into Teka's guard.
Lewis is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Teka looking for a sweep. Not yet Teka, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lewis stays in close to Teka's body and controls the position.

Teka seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Teka throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lewis seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Lewis scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Teka tries to improve position but can't.
Lewis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Teka looking for a sweep but Lewis has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Teka wants to hold on but Lewis pushes him away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lewis controlling the position easily from mount.
Lewis landing punches.
Lewis trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Teka is desperately trying to improve his position but Lewis has a good base and remains in mount.

Lewis moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Teka has worked his arm free - good work by Teka!
Teka is looking for a sweep.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Teka is still trying to improve position.

Lewis tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lewis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Teka seems a little lost for a moment, as Lewis dominates the positioning.
Teka tries to buck Lewis off but Lewis is having none of it.
Lewis gets to mount! Teka was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lewis goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Teka is on top in guard.
Lewis has a closed guard, preventing Teka from standing up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lewis pulls Teka in close to his closed guard and prevents Teka from doing any damage or advancing position.
Teka must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Teka stands up and waves to Lewis to follow him.
Lewis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Teka looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Teka on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Teka avoids the head kick by Lewis.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Justin Lewis dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Teka throws a good cross that connects.
Lewis takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Teka uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lewis.
Justin Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lewis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Lewis drops Teka with a left right combo! Lewis follows him down to the ground into side control.


Teka is rocked!


It looks like Tui Teka has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lewis cracks Teka with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Lewis immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Teka is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Lewis!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Justin Lewis!
Our winner, Justin Lewis, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
