Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNulty throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Both fighters circling a little - St Garnier finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McNulty .
St Garnier fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
McNulty throws a nice looking combination but St Garnier bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
McNulty is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

St Garnier is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. McNulty is defending well though. St Garnier let's go of the attempt for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McNulty tries to bum rush St Garnier with a series of wild strikes but St Garnier uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Some wild striking there from McNulty .
McNulty keeps the fight on the outside.
St Garnier tries to close the distance and clinch but McNulty swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McNulty punishes St Garnier's body with a nice straight punch.
McNulty looks to land a left hand but St Garnier moved out of range nicely.
George St Garnier is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
McNulty misses with a takedown
and St Garnier counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. McNulty is lucky that one didn't land flush.
St Garnier takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

McNulty wanted to stand there but St Garnier had control of the position.

McNulty decides to stand back up. McNulty steps back and let's St Garnier get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
St Garnier circles away from the clinch attempt.
McNulty tests St Garnier's chin there with a solid looking shot.
McNulty fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches St Garnier on the side of the head.

McNulty wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but St Garnier has him pressed against the cage.

McNulty pushes St Garnier back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
McNulty is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
McNulty goes for a takedown attempt but St Garnier pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
George St Garnier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James McNulty .
McNulty lands with an uppercut that bounces St Garnier off the cage and back into rage.
St Garnier walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A big right followed by a crushing left from McNulty knocks St Garnier out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
