Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ibrahim Suleyman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott comes into the arena with DMX - Ain't No Sunshine blaring out of the sound system. Michael Scott has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michael Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ibrahim Suleyman!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott slips a jab from Suleyman.
Suleyman lands a right hook to the body.
Scott shoots in looking for a takedown. Suleyman tries to sprawl out of it but Scott keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Suleyman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Scott closes the distance but Suleyman moves to the side
and Scott takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.


It looks like Michael Scott has been cut.
Scott fails to land the takedown.
Suleyman flicks out a counter leg kick but Scott steps away.
Scott looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Suleyman lands a leg kick that knocks Scott off balance momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scott moves out of range of the strikes.
Scott fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Suleyman is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Scott with a body shot.

Suleyman throws a hook to the side of Scott's head but Scott sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

It looked like Scott wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Scott dives in and grabs Suleyman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Suleyman pushes down on Scott's head and hops out.

and Suleyman makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

letting Scott counter with a right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Suleyman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Suleyman lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A looping hook to the body misses from Scott. Suleyman does a little dance to reset his feet.

Suleyman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Scott to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Scott is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Suleyman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Scott controls the pace.
Suleyman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Scott postures up in Suleyman's guard and throws a big left but Suleyman blocks it.
Suleyman wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Suleyman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Suleyman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Scott is one step ahead there.
Scott wants to control from the top but Suleyman keeps moving.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Suleyman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Scott.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Scott takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Scott shoots for a double leg takedown but Suleyman sprawls well. He's pushed Scott's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Scott tries to clinch but Suleyman is having none of it.

and Suleyman counters with a stiff right hand.
Scott fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Suleyman avoids it really well and circles away.
Suleyman flicks out a counter leg kick but Scott steps away.

Suleyman feints a jab promting Scott to slip. Suleyman then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Scott slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Michael Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scott shoots in looking for a takedown. Suleyman tries to sprawl out of it but Scott keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Suleyman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Oh Scott is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Suleyman lands with a nice body punch.
Scott seems to have got his legs back now.
Scott slips a straight right by Suleyman.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Scott is defended easily by Suleyman.

A quick step to the side and Scott tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ibrahim Suleyman seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Scott fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Scott takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Scott on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Suleyman moves out of range as Scott strikes.
Scott moves out of range of the leg kick from Suleyman.
A little feinted left hand from Scott on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Suleyman circles away from the clinch attempt
letting Suleyman counter with a right hand.
Scott is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Suleyman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Horrible takedown attempt by Scott or perhaps it was just good defense by Suleyman, which made it look bad.
Ibrahim Suleyman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Suleyman throws a nice inside leg kick.
Scott shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Suleyman to counter with a crisp jab.
Suleyman throws an overhand right that lands on Scott's shoulder, as Scott tries to avoid the shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Scott looks for a takedown but Suleyman sprawls well.

Ibrahim Suleyman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


A decent looking body kick lands there for Suleyman.
Scott misses with a body punch
and Suleyman counters with a stiff right hand.
Suleyman throws a monster overhand right that drops Scott! Suleyman follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ibrahim Suleyman!
After the fight, Ibrahim Suleyman was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
The defeated Michael Scott had this to say: 'Who Killed Davey Moore? Why and what's the reason for?'.
