Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sven Backlund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaac Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Moore moves forwards but Backlund connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Backlund misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Backlund throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Moore's waist but Moore gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Backlund off to one side.
Backlund throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Backlund misses with a double jab.
Backlund throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Backlund as Moore shoots in.
Backlund tries to clinch but Moore moves out of range.

Moore scores a takedown into full mount!

Moore looking for a guillotine from mount but Backlund is having none of it.
Backlund tries to hold on but Moore postures up.

Backlund is trying desperately to improve position.

Moore looking to secure an arm triangle but Backlund defends it well.
Backlund tries to control Moore's body but Moore pushes him off. Backlund squirms to his side and now Moore has his back!
Moore has the hooks in. Backlund is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Moore is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Backlund is defending well though. Moore let's go of the attempt for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Backlund is looking for a sweep.
Backlund wants to control but Moore postures up.
Backlund is breathing heavily.
Backlund is pushing Moore's head away, looking to escape. Moore manages to hold on to the position though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Backlund tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Moore doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Backlund counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Moore's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moore bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Backlund's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Isaac Moore will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Moore counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Backlund is trying to control the position but Moore postures up.

Moore stands and steps away. Backlund gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Backlund shoots and misses

and Moore counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moore is pushing down on Backlund's leg trying to pass to half guard. Backlund is fighting to maintain full guard but Moore has managed to sneak the leg through.

Moore wants to finish this one by submission but Backlund is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Moore.
