The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hemmer is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, Hemmer circles away and we're back to standing.
Smith closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Ruslan Smith has been cut.
Hemmer walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Smith drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Hemmer swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Smith's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
