Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Lloyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erwan Gouarn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erwan Gouarn looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lloyd lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Gouarn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lloyd to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Erwan Gouarn has been cut.
Gouarn misses with a head kick.

Lloyd looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gouarn!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lloyd misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Lloyd bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gouarn's head backwards.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lloyd manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Lloyd lunges at Gouarn with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gouarn's hand.

Lloyd's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Lloyd stands up and beckons Gouarn to join him on the feet.
Gouarn throws a lazy right hand but Lloyd sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Lloyd forces Gouarn back against the cage and clinches.

Lloyd pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gouarn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lloyd tries to bum rush Gouarn with a series of wild strikes but Gouarn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lloyd has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Gouarn dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lloyd. That did some damage!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lloyd wants to stand but Gouarn is controlling his posture from full guard.

Gouarn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lloyd can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Nice uppercut lands for Lloyd. That snapped Gouarn's head back.

Lloyd decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Lloyd is nestled in close to Gouarn, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
