Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarmppa Kaataja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrison has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, James Harrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jarmppa Kaataja! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harrison tries to clinch up but Kaataja circles away and keeps his distance. Kaataja tries to clinch up and Harrison counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Harrison is breathing heavily. Kaataja wants to stand up but Harrison is controlling him. Kaataja scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Kaataja clinches but Harrison breaks the clinch and Harrison counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kaataja is trying to stand back up but Harrison is controlling him
Kaataja makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Kaataja darts in trying to clinch and Harrison counters with a single leg into guard. Kaataja didn't expect that. Kaataja kicks Harrison off and gets to his feet. Kaataja tries to clinch but Harrison moves out of range. Kaataja clinches but Harrison breaks the clinch and Harrison counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harrison throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Harrison stops Kaataja from getting back to his feet.
Kaataja makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Kaataja dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Harrison. That did some damage! Kaataja throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Harrison's head. Kaataja moves into the clinch successfully.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrison is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kaataja! Kaataja is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Harrison wants to finish this one by submission but Kaataja is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Harrison. Harrison with a couple of short strikes. Harrison can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kaataja is looking to escape. Kaataja squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Harrison tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Harrison throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Harrison wants to control the pace but Kaataja is squirming around nicely. Kaataja tries to buck Harrison off but he can't manage it. Harrison tries to control but Kaataja wriggling away. Kaataja squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kaataja is squirming around, avoiding Harrison's attempts to control the action. Harrison postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kaataja looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kaataja looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kaataja tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Harrison is able to avoid easily. Kaataja tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harrison swats him away and circles back towards the center. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Harrison decides to take the fight back to the feet. Kaataja closes the distance but Harrison moves to the side and Harrison counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kaataja won't be happy with that. Kaataja is trying to buck Harrison off. Harrison is looking to take a break and control but Kaataja is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kaataja is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Harrison tries to free his leg and advance position but Kaataja is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kaataja darts in trying to clinch and Harrison decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kaataja's guard. Kaataja is looking to stand up but Harrison isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrison stays in close to Kaataja's body and controls the position. Kaataja wants to get back to his feet but Harrison is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Harrison scoring with punches to the head and body. Jarmppa Kaataja has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kaataja keeping full guard, as Harrison tries to pass. Kaataja is striking but Harrison is not phased and passes to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kaataja pushes Harrison off looking to stand but Harrison dives back in and keeps control.
And that's the end of the fight! James Harrison showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Harrison, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
