Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer takes a jab right on the kisser.
Persico lands a glancing blow to the side of Killer's head.
Persico definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Persico lands with a good body shot.
Persico gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Killer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Persico lands a body punch in the clinch.

Killer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Persico smiles and moves away.
Persico throws out a powerful jab.
Killer is rocked!
Killer rushes Persico and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Persico gets through Killer's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Killer is still on wobbly legs! Can Persico finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Persico lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Killer to his knees! Persico keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carmine Persico!
