Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akio Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dream Panda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamamoto comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Whyte - Oxy Cotton. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Akio Yamamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dream Panda! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Panda decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Yamamoto wants to get back to full guard but Panda has mounted him! Yamamoto is working to get back to half guard.
Poor strikes thrown by Panda there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Yamamoto sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Panda not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yamamoto actively working from the bottom here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Panda throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Yamamoto to regain full guard. Panda's corner is telling him to maintain position. Panda really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yamamoto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Panda tries to free his leg and advance position but Yamamoto is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Panda stands up over Yamamoto, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Panda is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Yamamoto keeping full guard, as Panda tries to pass. Yamamoto is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Yamamoto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Panda gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Panda controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Panda stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yamamoto swivels though and keeps the full guard. Yamamoto looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Yamamoto is breathing heavily. Panda engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Let's hope that Panda has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Panda's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Panda must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Panda pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yamamoto is keeping the position for now. Panda controls from within his opponent's guard. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Panda. Yamamoto might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Panda lying in Yamamoto's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Yamamoto decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Panda taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

A very excited looking Akio Yamamoto made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
