Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tural Agaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Daniel Kennamer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Agaev comes to the cage accompanied by Slavsia, Rus!. Kennamer has chosen J.D. Sumner - Old Man River as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that James Daniel Kennamer was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, James Daniel Kennamer!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennamer takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Agaev misses with a head kick.

and Kennamer counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

It looks like Tural Agaev has been cut.
Agaev is doing well to control the position and prevent Kennamer from advancing to side control.

and Agaev counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Kennamer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Agaev as he jumps to the side.
Tural Agaev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Daniel Kennamer.
Kennamer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Agaev tries to avoid it but Kennamer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Agaev to the ground. Agaev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Agaev misses with a kick to the body.
Agaev cracks the inside of Kennamer's front leg.
Agaev connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Agaev is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kennamer dives into side control.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Agaev's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

The fighters circling - Agaev throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Agaev seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Agaev manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kennamer manages to get himself to full guard.

Kennamer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Agaev looks to land a combination but Kennamer avoids it well.
Tural Agaev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

enabling Agaev to counter with a crisp jab.

Kennamer drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Agaev defends it well.

letting Kennamer counter with a right hand.
Agaev throws a left and a right that both miss

and Kennamer counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Agaev!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The ground and pound from Kennamer seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Agaev is controlling Kennamer's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Agaev is looking to improve his position.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Agaev's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Agaev gets caught napping as Kennamer dives in and scores a takedown. Agaev manages to retain guard.
You can see that Kennamer has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Agaev is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Agaev is taking a breather. Kennamer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Agaev tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Kennamer.
Agaev is pressing down on Kennamer's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kennamer is holding on for now.
Agaev uses his free foot to push down on Kennamer's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kennamer.
Agaev tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Agaev has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Kennamer is in all sorts of trouble here.
Agaev tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kennamer can't escape the position.
Agaev looking to control but Kennamer is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Agaev stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Kennamer closes the distance and clinches up with Agaev, looking for a takedown. Kennamer pushes Agaev against the cage but Agaev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice straight punches there by Agaev. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Agaev.

Agaev drops Kennamer with a beautiful combination! Kennamer stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Agaev is looking for the KO!
Agaev swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kennamer moves out of range as Agaev throws a body kick.
Kennamer shoots and misses
enabling Agaev to counter with a crisp jab.


Kennamer is rocked!
Kennamer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Agaev engages and cracks Kennamer with a massive lead left hook - Kennamer tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Agaev is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tural Agaev!
Tural Agaev decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
