Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitri Zaitsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Brophy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brophy has chosen JME - The Very Best as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dmitri Zaitsev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Red Brophy!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaitsev shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Brophy eats them both and turns towards Zaitsev to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Red Brophy has been cut.
We've been hearing reports that Zaitsev has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Zaitsev slips under a jab from Brophy.
Brophy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Zaitsev lands with a cross.
Brophy looks for the body kick but Zaitsev saw that one coming.
A telegraphed right hand from Brophy misses the target.
Brophy looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Brophy lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Zaitsev misses with an uppercut
and Brophy counters with a low kick, right behind Zaitsev 's knee.
Zaitsev throws a lazy uppercut
and Brophy counters with a nice uppercut.
Dmitri Zaitsev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zaitsev throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brophy counters with a nice uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zaitsev throws the kick towards the body but Brophy avoids it.
Brophy takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Zaitsev throws a big shot that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zaitsev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brophy connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Zaitsev jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Crunch! Zaitsev slams his shin into Brophy's torso.
Zaitsev feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brophys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Zaitsev tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Zaitsev throws a right hand that misses
and Brophy counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Brophy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Zaitsev misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Brophy.
Zaitsev's jab looks to have found its range, popping Brophy under the eye.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zaitsev feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Brophy's calf.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zaitsev looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Zaitsev throws out a loose jab but Brophy uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zaitsev lands a jab.
A slow jab from Zaitsev misses its intended target.
Zaitsev works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A punch lands to the side of Zaitsev 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Zaitsev looks to throw the jab but Brophy is out of range.
Brophy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Zaitsev tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brophy was well out of range. Poor timing from Zaitsev.
A little jabbing left from Brophy on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Zaitsev throws a low kick but Brophy avoids it.
Brophy drops Zaitsev with a beautiful combination! Zaitsev stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Brophy is looking for the KO!
Zaitsev scores with a nice head shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zaitsev scoring well with a low kick there.
Zaitsev swings away with a body shot that misses
and Brophy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Zaitsev rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Brophy to counter with a crisp jab.
Zaitsev is rocked!
Brophy is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Zaitsev had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Zaitsev gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Brophy points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Zaitsev wakes up just in time to hear Brophy thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Red Brophy!
