Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Taurin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivor Colde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ivor Colde! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taurin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Colde feints the counter takedown. A momentary lapse in concentration from Colde enables Taurin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Colde manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Colde lands a decent punch to the body there. Colde controlling the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Colde is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Colde is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Colde's corner is telling him to maintain position. Colde postures up.
Colde sitting in guard here, content to control. Taurin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Colde defends it easily. Taurin is breathing heavily.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A lazy body kick from Taurin and Colde counters with a nice double leg into guard. Colde not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Colde's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Colde is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Colde scoring with punches to the head and body. Colde controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Colde chips away with some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivor Colde dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Taurin gets the takedown into side control. Taurin working away. Colde striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Who's going to make the next move? Colde sneaks back into half guard. Colde gets back to full guard.
Taurin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Colde on the ground. Colde will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. More stalling from Colde. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Colde gets caught flat footed, as Taurin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Colde throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Colde looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Colde is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Colde trying to control the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Colde frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Taurin is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Colde locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Taurin is forced to tap!
