Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kush Submits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Setsuno Hiradama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kush Submits!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Setsuno Hiradama!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Submits throws a right hand that misses

and Hiradama counters with a shoot takedown. Submits fights it but they end up in guard.
Hiradama working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Submits had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hiradama defends it easily.
Submits utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Submits keeping full guard, as Hiradama tries to pass.

Submits is looking for a triangle but Hiradama pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hiradama got a little sloppy there for a moment and Submits has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hiradama has managed to get both his arms back between Submits's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The ground and pound from Hiradama seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Hiradama content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Submits defending against the ground and pound.
Hiradama working the head and body with strikes.
Submits taking punishment in the form of punches.
Hiradama really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Submits. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Submits seems a little lost for a moment, as Hiradama dominates the positioning.
Submits is trying to control Hiradama's posture but Hiradama avoids it.
Hiradama is looking to take a break and control but Submits is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Submits throws out a loose jab but Hiradama uses good head movement to avoid it.

Submits has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hiradama is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Submits.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hiradama lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Submits tries to roll over but Hiradama keeps him under control.
Submits won't allow Hiradama to pass to mount.
Hiradama has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Submits gets full guard.
Hiradama postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hiradama throws an elbow that misses. Submits uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hiradama's guard. Nice move by Submits!

Hiradama is looking to stand up but Submits isn't so interested in that idea.

A close second round but Setsuno Hiradama will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
