Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Emanuel Fleming (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atreyu Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakamura has chosen Akatsuki as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Emanuel Fleming! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Atreyu Nakamura! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamura plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Nakamura throws a shot from downtown. Fleming moves away and avoids it. Fleming fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nakamura drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Fleming defends it well. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Nakamura. Fleming shrugs it off though. Fleming tries to clinch there but Nakamura circles away.
Fleming takes a swing at Nakamura's ribcage but misses. Fleming throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nakamura tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fleming is in Nakamura's guard. Nakamura has his foot on Fleming's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fleming works his way back into a safe position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fleming engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Nakamura working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fleming doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fleming manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fleming really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fleming drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fleming jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Nakamura is controlling Fleming's posture. Fleming trying to control the position from guard on top but Nakamura is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nakamura controls Fleming momentarily but Fleming frees himself. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Fleming drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fleming jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fleming gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Nakamura to counter with a crisp jab. Nakamura moves into range and clinches up with Fleming. Fleming is working for takedown but Nakamura is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Emanuel Fleming. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nakamura with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Fleming tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nakamura just stands there and leans against the cage. Fleming fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Fleming has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nakamura is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Nakamura is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fleming can't fight it off and eventually Nakamura manages to take the fight to the floor. Fleming looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakamura controlling from the top position. Fleming throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Nakamura slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fleming is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Nakamura stays in close to Fleming's body and controls the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fleming is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Nakamura loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Atreyu Nakamura dominated that round. That's time! Fleming's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Fleming walks into a jab. Nakamura drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Nakamura stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fleming swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fleming looking for a guillotine here but Nakamura defends easily.
Nakamura throws a big elbow that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nakamura is looking to work some ground and pound but Fleming has wrist control. Nakamura wants to control from the top but Fleming keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakamura slips nicely into half guard. Nakamura thows a huge punch but Fleming dodges it nicely.
Fleming wants to improve his position but Nakamura is controlling well.
Nakamura is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fleming is just riding it out for now. Nakamura eventually gives up the hold. Atreyu Nakamura has got the better of the ground game so far. Nakamura stops Fleming from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fleming is not content to let Nakamura control the position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nakamura tries to pass the half guard into mount. Fleming knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Nakamura lands a jab to the head.
Nakamura's coach down at Cozad MMA Tokyo was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Nakamura's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Nakamura lands with a right hand. Fleming avoids the head kick by Nakamura.
Fleming half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakamura lands with a kick to the temple. Fleming shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Nakamura throws a head kick that Fleming semi-blocks.
Nakamura is breathing heavily. Nakamura shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fleming's guard. Fleming pushes Nakamura off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Nakamura throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fleming half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Nakamura tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fleming manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Fleming gets tackled into the cage by Nakamura. Nakamura maintains the clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nakamura pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A head kick from Nakamura lands but Fleming takes it in his stride. Fleming shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nakamura as he avoids it easily. Fleming throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nakamura's waist but Nakamura gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fleming off to one side. Nakamura moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Nakamura has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fleming is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nakamura is looking for the big counter here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A shot to the body from Nakamura misses and Fleming counters with a single leg into guard. Nakamura didn't expect that. Nakamura is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Fleming dives into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Atreyu Nakamura showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
A punch combination from Nakamura misses. A shot to the liver by Nakamura. Beautiful body shot. Excellent takedown into side control there by Nakamura. Fleming can't do much from the bottom here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fleming tries to control but Nakamura manages to take his back. Fleming prevents Nakamura from getting a body triangle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fleming preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Nakamura. Nakamura takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakamura has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Fleming has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Fleming trying to control the action but Nakamura just sinks the hooks in. Fleming is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nakamura misses with a punch to the head. Fleming tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Fleming sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Fleming is trying to stand up here but Nakamura is controlling him well. Fleming wants to get back to full guard. Nakamura is looking for a kimura but Fleming is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nakamura to get the leverage. Fleming avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Nakamura. Fleming is refusing to be controlled, as Nakamura sits in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A momentary lapse in concentration from Fleming enables Nakamura to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fleming manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Fleming is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fleming is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nakamura defends well. Nakamura stops Fleming from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nakamura gets to his feet - Fleming follows without any prompting. Nakamura throws a leg kick which misses Fleming's front leg but catches the back leg as Fleming tries to avoid it. Fleming takes a kick to the side of the head. Nakamura scores with a shot to the body.
Fleming shoots in looking for a takedown. Nakamura tries to sprawl out of it but Fleming keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nakamura manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that's the end of the fight! Atreyu Nakamura comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nakamura has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Atreyu Nakamura! A very excited looking Atreyu Nakamura made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
