Barnard keeps the fight on the outside.
Barnard scores with a punch to the head.
Perkovic dives in and grabs Barnard's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barnard pushes down on Perkovic's head and hops out.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Perkovic.
Barnard stuffs the takedown.
Barnard has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ante Perkovic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Barnard sends Perkovic crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Barnard is motioning to the referee to let Perkovic up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
