Cruz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. U Can't Touch This - MC Hammer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Danny Cruz has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Cruz enables Franco to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cruz manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Franco throws a big right hand that misses.
Cruz is adopting a defensive guard.

Franco might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cruz looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Franco is defending well. Cruz quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Franco has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Cruz celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
